Enjoy stunning mountain and forest scenery on our escorted Romania train tours and rail holidays. Relive a bygone age, when rural life meant working the fields with horses, stacking hay in haystacks and preparing meals from home grown produce.

Visit remote Saxon villages with their fortified churches, experience village life in Maramureș, view the famous Painted Monasteries of Bucovina, and discover the medieval citadel at Sighişoara. Ride three narrow gauge Transylvania steam railways and stay in family-run ‘homestay’ accommodation.
